Philip Aryee serves as the Senior Partner at Lobban Hyde Ghana, where he provides strategic direction and oversees operations to ensure the firm delivers its key service offerings effectively. With over 20 years of experience as a chartered accountant at Lobban Hyde, Mr. Aryee has expertise in financial statement audit, tax, fraud investigation, due diligence, valuation, and financial advisory services. He has been actively involved in numerous engagements across Africa, particularly within the Moore Global Network.

Philip has led some of the firm’s largest and most complex cross-functional projects, demonstrating extensive experience in project management. He has successfully managed projects for clients in various sectors, including financial services and manufacturing industries. Philip Aryee is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAG) and plays a crucial role in driving Lobban Hyde’s success.

Audit & Tax Partner

Joshua Nii Ayi Armah is an experienced Chartered Accountant with 24 years of professional experience. Currently serving as an Audit Partner at Lobban Hyde, Joshua has experience in both internal and external audit functions. He gained valuable experience at Deloitte Ghana and Enoch Dodoo & Co Chartered Accountants, where he underwent training and held progressive roles in audit.

Joshua has extensive experience in auditing Donor Fund projects, including those funded by the World Bank and the European Union, as well as engagements in the mining and banking sectors. Before joining Lobban Hyde, he served as the Head of Internal Audit Department and Head of Security, gaining practical experience with software implementations. A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAG), Joshua plays a vital role in contributing to Lobban Hyde’s success

Audit & Advisory Partner

Gabriel is an Audit and Advisory  professional with experience in Data Analytics, IT Audit and Finance, spanning over 12 years. As an Audit and Advisory Partner at Lobban Hyde, he specializes in both Internal and External Audit services. He provides solutions in Data Analytics, Revenue Assurance, IT Audit, and Financial Statement Audit to leading organizations across various industries including Banking, Telecommunications, Government, Manufacturing, and Non-Bank Financial institutions, among others

Before joining Lobban Hyde he worked with EY Ghana as a data analytics manager where he planned, executed, and oversaw Data Analytics and IT Audit projects within the Ghana data analytics unit.

Gabriel worked as a team lead at KPMG Ghana where he performed financial statement audit, data analytics and IT audit for various engagements across different sectors.

He worked with Vodafone/Telecel Ghana as Internal Auditor technology where he delivered local IT audit requirements within Ghana, Group Technology, and other vertical domains.

He has worked with Torenzo Limited Company Director Data Strategy & Governance where he developed and executed comprehensive data strategy aligned with business goals and objectives

Gabriel has been involved in various projects most of the Big Commercial Banks in Ghana all the Big Three Telecommunication Companies in Ghana.

He has varied experiences with several ERPs and is familiar with programming languages as well as databases. He is a champion for digital solution deployments, migration reviews and maintains a broad understanding of emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and cloud computing

Gabriel holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Coventry University, UK, and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with First Class Honors from the University of Cape Coast. He is also a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana.

Tax Director

Francis is a Tax Lawyer with over 18 years of experience in taxation, audit, financial and capital markets, and business advisory. He is a transfer pricing expert, specializing in transfer pricing documentation and tax risk and cross boarder taxation.  He is currently a member of the Council of Chartered Institute of Taxation Ghana, serving as Chairman, Education and Training. He is also a Lead Research Consultant at Africa Centre for Tax Policy Research (ACTOR), a non-government policy think-tank.

Throughout his career, Francis has held significant roles in various esteemed organizations. He served as the Assistant Manager in charge of Taxation at Unilever Ghana Plc and as the Senior Tax Manager at Guinness Ghana Breweries Plc. His expertise in tax matters led him to Telecom giant MTN Ghana, where he held the position of Lead Tax Specialist, overseeing the company’s tax and cross-border tax activities. He also worked as an Audit Manager at AAB and Associates, a reputable firm of Chartered Accountants and Auditors based in Accra.

He is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana with Law Trust Company, with experience in litigation and project advisory on taxation, commercial and financial matters.
Francis has been involved in various projects including tax due diligence, advising on taxpayer remedies and resolution of disputes with revenue authorities, training, providing general advice on market access, investment strategies and assessing investment incentives.
Francis holds Master of Laws Degree from University of London (Corporate and Commercial Laws) as well as a Bachelor of Laws degree from GIMPA Law School. He holds a post-graduate Advanced Diploma in Transfer Pricing from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, San Diego, California, USA.
Francis is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants-Ghana (ICAG) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation-Ghana (CITG).
He has a Master of Philosophy Degree in Finance as well as Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting [First Class Honors] all from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
Francis also holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from Central University and has Associate Degree in Legal Studies from the Institute of Commercial Management –UK. He is a product of Sunyani Technical University with a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy. He teaches International Taxation, Oil and Gas Taxation and Advanced Taxation at More Tax Academy and a lecturer at the Advanced Diploma in Transfer Pricing at the CITG. He is a regular contributor to tax columns in Business and Financial Times in Ghana.
